My Son's late 2013 8V A3 was factory built with ACC but it's developed a fault which requires a new radar sensor, the original part number was 5Q0 907 541 J for which a dealer wanted silly money for. I've seen various used ones for sale but given their age I'm not sure about the risk of another failure (internal delamination?). I've bought an unused part which has a later suffix (M rather than J), can anyone confirm if that will work once Component Protection is removed or have I made an expensive mistake?
