Retro fit front footwell lights

Hi All,

I have an A3 sport and don’t have front footwell lights, I have got some lights that actually fit in just unsure how to wire them in. If anyone has any tips that would be helpful. I ideally would like them to come on / off when doors open but I’m also willing to have them come on when the headlights activate.
