Anyone had this?
I use copper crush washers on all my cars, but last change it had been leaking slightly so this time I tried a solid copper and its peeing out.
What's going on?

Try a small amount of thread lock on the upper part of the tread nearer to the hole just to test if the thread has become damaged, this will create a seal of course, assume you've tried a few more nm on the plug?

Yes, when I removed with the crush washer it wasn't tight at all, almost alarmingly so, so this time it is tight.
Thinking ptfe tape & crush washer for today.
Maybe a new plug next time, but I don't think there's anything wrong with this one!

Don't use PTFE on the whole thread, I think the thread lock is best as at least that grinds down to a dust or the heat will kill it in the oil, just in case any ptfe gets in the sump.

Fixed for now, crush washer & tape on the bottom half of the plug.
Next time I'll order up new plug & washer.
Thanks for advice.
