Help with new water pump

Replaced my timing belt and water pump with a full Gates kit. Disappointed to find the pump had a metal impeller after everything I've read about how bad they are, but fitted it anyway.
6 months later its now leaking badly.

Any advice on which brand is most likely OE?
BORG & BECK possibly?

I used a Contitech full kit (continental) metal impeller no probs over 3 years now...

At my garage we're using timing belt kits from Bosch, Continental (Contitech) or INA. Never had problems with those 3 brands and we do a lot of timing belts on VW group cars.
