Howdy folks,

Hoping someone could share some knowledge and help with this one! I've got a 2003 TT (1.8T BAM) and the engine isn't getting up to temp whilst driving.

I thought it might have been the coolant temp sensor, which I replaced, ran it for a while whilst parked up and it got up to temp. Great, I thought! However, whilst driving it only ever gets up to 65-70c, even under load.

I have noticed that the fans kick in as soon as I start the engine, so I'm guessing this is related but assumed they were controlled by the coolant temp sensor....

I'm taking these readings from OBD, and the gauge reflects this.

Any ideas? Thermostat perhaps?

Any help much appreciated :)
