Q5 Q5 dash screen settings?

Its been a while since Ive needed advice but I hope someone will have an idea

On a friends 2023 Q5 dash screen. Its set to the nav screen, he can crive the car to work with nav screen on and when he goes home its still on nav screen. The following morning on start up, the screen defaults back to the phone contacts screen. Its a tiny issue but its very annoying to him to have to keep changing the screen. Is there a way to change the screen so it either stays on what is set or defaults to time and date?

I don't know but if he doesn't lock with the plipper then try that. This use to be the way to store settings ‍

We picked up our A3 last night and I left the screen on Nav and the dash on Nav and it was exactly as we left it last night. I'll ask him how he locks the car.
