I’m in an interesting dilemma,
Garage I’ve been going to for years (for general work & MOT’s), the main man seems to be winding down and not really interested in pricing for repairs and diagnosis anymore. I do use a good Audi specialist for Annual servicing, but charges for diagnosing issues let alone, repairing seems extortionate, in some cases, I’m better off going straight to the main dealer. I am mechanically competent, but with time (and weather) are less flexible
First Question, do you guys have any recommendations for good garages/Audi specialists in the North West of England (Ideally near Manchester)??
Second Question, for car issues/repairs, do you tend to use specialists, independent garages, mobile mechanics or even do the work yourself? – Interested to get peoples takes on this as it seems to be getting harder and harder to get reasonable customer service at a reasonable price!
(I’m all for supporting local businesses but, when cost of work match/even exceed that which is offered at the main dealer…why would you second guess it?)
