Hi there have an S3 out in the UAE on 170,000km
Recently had it in for a full service (non Audi dealership) - shortly after the service I got a brake error on the car. Took it back in, they diagnosed it as the brake master cylinder needing to be replaced. While they were sourcing the part the issue went away. (During the servicing they had replaced some brake sensors, skimmed the discs and replaced some control arm bushes.)
My question is - could the work they did during servicing have caused the error in the first place? Or is it just coincidental and the master cylinder sensor is on the blink and will need fixed at some point.
Thanks for any and all input?
