I have a 35 tfsi manual which is nearly 3yrs old but only has around 17k miles on the clock. Over the last few months I've noticed the gear change in first and second to be noticeably clunky but thought nothing of it.
Yesterday whilst mid journey and going through the gearbox a warning light came on the dash stating a clutch fault. The associated wording that followed said something similar to "not dangerous but visit workshop" and the warning quickly vanished.
Has anyone else had this and if so what was the resolution? I've not booked it into the dealer because this car has always thrown up warnings and it goes back in a few months for its MOT, plus the warning hasn't returned or happened before.
