I have a 2006 a3 2.0 tfsi
My temp gauge never passes 90c
But I've never once heard or seen my fans come on.
I drive like a loon and have a 30 mile journey to work, any other vehicle will have the fans singing when I arrive but mine appear todo nothing
I can often smell the heat when I arrive.
I've noticed it takes a very long time for my motor to cool down. I can leave the car for an hour or 2 come back fire it up and it'll still be warm.
I've read a few other posts that say they won't kick in until 94-104c but it just doesn't feel right and I'm worried about the longerity of my engine.
Tried various setting on my heater control panel econ etc to see if they would spin but still nothing.
I plan todo fuse checks in the morning I'm wondering if I should just replace the whole shroud and both fans, is there other switches or modules I need to replace aswell?
Can I just send 12v to the fan to test them? If so does anyone know which pin?
