Has anyone got the security access code for HVAC on VCDS?

For what as never needed it on 8P I can recall.

Hey NHN,

Thanks for the response. So, I've retrofitted the heated seats + HVAC unit. The issue I'm having is the driver side temperature reads 37 degrees (which is what position 6 is set to) before the seat even warms up. I'm guessing theres a bigger issue here. So, I wanted to amend the value to 64, but when I goto the settings I get 'ERROR' - I thought I may need the security code to do it?

You sure you've not wired sides wrong as the kufatec loom is LHD so it always shows as drivers side under passenger in heated seat mvb, it's a common mistake unfortunately that kufatec don't tell people about until you've fitted it & discover lol.

You can swap the sensor wires round on the HVAC plug.

so, I cabled it as per the 'right hand' version and when I look at the MVB I see the 'passenger' side is the driver side. But I read that VCDS use labels from the left hand version of the car?

Should the VCDS be

driver side = driver side value
passenger side = passenger side value?

Tbh mate I'd plug both seats into each others sides to confirm it's not a seat element wiring issue.

So, I tried that - it still does the same. Could I wire up pin 1 and 13 (goes to fuse box) to confirm the seat does heat up?

I've also developed another issue:

any thoughts on the above:

- I've tried changing the fuses
- I've swapped the old hvac back over

Unsure whats happened here.

reseated the pins into the connector (D) and all fixed now, ran adaptation settings - still unable to up the temp on the drivers side.

I'm thinking of replacing the G345 sensor but its located inside the seat?

So, no luck fixing the heated seat. I've read the G345 is a small resistor that can be replaced but located inside the seat (with heating element) - do I remove the seat cover (looking for info on how this is done)
