Happy new year everyone.
Well it was for me until my MMI decided to become possessed and is all of sudden behaving rather odd.
FL - 2017
1. The reversing camera is no longer coming on when engaging reverse. It has come on a few times whilst I was testing, sometimes coming on then going off, but recently its now just off. I can hear the sensors beeping, but no picture, the radio station remains displayed.
2. The screen keeps randomly popping up and down, sometimes up and down and then again within seconds.
3. The virtual cockpit section where the radio station or current track usually displays just says "entertainment options currently unavailable"
I've tried the reset option pressing the 2 side Nav and Radio buttons up, plus pressing the touch dial. This has made no difference. I then tried to reset to factory settings, but not sure this even worked as the screen turns off. Perhaps this is a function of the reset, but again the issue has not resolved.
I know there are some threads on this, but were just wondering if any FL 8v guys have experienced this? Did you get it resolved. Any thoughts please?
I do currently have an issue where my radio goes off when I switch on the rear heating element, which I believe was damaged when I had a tint removed before Xmas. However this MMI issue has only just started. Could it be related.. i.e. electrics issue.
I think its probably looking like a trip to Audi.. which I wont be looking forward to.
