Hi all,

Looking to get wheel spacers on my 2016 PFL S3 that’s on stock springs & has stock 18” rims, but rim protector fitment tyres all round.
What do people suggest as the optimal width for front & rear spacers? I’ve seen 10mm front & 15mm rear is common, but I’m unsure if 15 might be too much for mine with the rim protector tyres?

Any help is appreciated!

I’ve got 10mm front and 15mm rear , looks great. Made by Bimmec, £160 on eBay

Quick correction ! I’ve actually got 15mm front and 20mm rear on my S3. 18” stock rims. Not lowered either.

Absolutely no issues at all , stance looks great and arches look fuller. Had to be done for me to make the S3 look right with the Maxton Design skirts I fitted .

Ah nice, cheers for that mate! Have you got any photos of yours I could see? I’ve been tempted to get the Maxton skirts myself

Here’s a photo of the S3 with the Maxton skirts and splitter. This isn’t with spacers on, I’ll get a pic of it with the spacers at the weekend as the wife has the S3 right now

Ooof that looks quality mate, best looking 5 door I’ve seen even without the spacers!
And if you could post a behind / side view of yours with the spacers on that’d be ideal but no rush, just so I can gauge the tyre position.
Cheers!

Here are some photos of the S3 with spacers fitted. Excuse the filthy car very much in need of a good detail ! As you’ll see the wheels sit nicely to the edge of the arches.

Finally got them installed last week.
10mm front & 15mm rear H&R spacers - very happy with them!
Here’s some before / after photos

Anybody run 20mm spacers on the rear with the factory 18" turbine wheels? Do they rub the arches?

I’m on factory 18’s with 20mm rear spacers and no rubbing whatsoever. No regrets fitting them. See photos above

I went with 15mm at the front if that helps. Looks really good and no issues.
