This is a genuine Audi wireless phone charger. I bought this for my facelift Audi S3 because my original had stopped working. However, my mat was not actually broken, but had stopped working due to a conflict between the aftermarket amplifier I had connected up to my radio. I’ve since removed the amplifier and have no need for this spare.
This item has been fully tested in my facelift vehicle and works perfectly. I’ve heard it is possible to retrofit to pre-facelift models but I do not know how.
