Help Please Exhaust rattle

Hi. This has probably been asked before but can anyone help with this rattle please? S4 B8.5 DSG 58K miles. Thanks

mate it sounds like a bolt/stone is rolling around in it... and there is way to much movement on those pipes too... Only one goos way of seeing what is wrong and that means taking them off and check if something comes out...(could be cat or dpf filter material) unless you like the cowbell noise.

That sounds normal to me - around 2000rpm - it's the two flexy joints - mine's exactly the same and has always been so.

You can alleviate it by bolting on a "vibration damper" basically an offset lump of iron to dampen it out

aha that is why the s4 and RS4 have that bridge between the 2 exhaust pipes.... might be a as simple as to find the point where it stops the wierd movement and weld a brace between the 2 pipes.
