RGB DRLs

Hi @DJAlix , I hope you're keeping well. I purchased an Icedriver RGB DRL for my A3 8v....previous people that install confirmed that I can't unplug the OEM DRL or it would throw an error. Could I possibly wire the RGB DRLs to the live feed from the fog lamps? My fog lights currently work exactly as I'd like the DRLs to work (CH/LH, stays on while driving during the day and works as cornering lights at night without having to toggle switches)

Assuming you have a PFL A3 then I don’t see why not but aftermarket is not my specialty if I am being honest.

I do understand and appreciate your time despite aftermarket not being your speciality. However, do you think splicing into the OEM DRLs will also work without throwing an error(that might be much easier than using the fogs)? The RGB drls are supposedly 12v

The fogs should be 12v so should be good. Only one way to find out

Hi again @DJAlix , thanks for your guidance so far....I'd like to connect to my dipped beams instead. What pin or wire would I need to splice into?
