Hi everyone,
As the title of this thread suggests, I’m experiencing a light shudder when releasing the clutch in first gear, followed by stiff/hard gear changes into the remaining 4 gears, no grinding, no unusual noises.
When the car is stationary (engine running) there is no resistance when shifting between all 5 gears.
After sifting through the internet, all signs point towards a pressure plate issue or a release bearing issue.
Since the clutch/flywheel were done only 40k km’s ago I’m hoping this isn’t the case.
(SMF setup).
If anybody has experienced this problem first hand, or know of someone who has, or even if you just have an opinion, I would definitely appreciate any information/feedback that might help.
Thanks.
