I was wondering what you guys/gals do to prevent your quattro from sliding out while driving in the snow? Like I notice if I let off the gas then give it gas again the car will correct itself. But my mom's van is AWD too and she doesn't have the problem of sliding at all. Like at times it can be a little scary, could this be too from the tires and if so what do you recommend, right now I have on Continental "ContiTouringContact's" and they absolutely suck. So any help would be appreciated, I used to have Bridgestone Potenza RE950's on my old FWD car and they worked well in the snow, any experience with them on AWD? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

turn the ESP off on snow/ice..........says so in the manual

Thanks, the car didn't come with a manual, so I didn't know. I'm guessing the ESP is the button right by the E-Brake handle, is this correct?
