Im currently trying to solve a intermittent boost problem. My S3 occasionaly boosts properly, and then other times there is nothing there. So i plugged it up to VAGCOM and checked the errors and did some data logging.
The following errors came up:
17963 charge pressure limit exceeded,
16486 MAF signal too low,
and a mystery 17968 code which i can't seem to find a definition for. I've tryed this page on ross-techs site but there is no code: http://wiki.ross-tech.com/index.php?title=Category:Fault_Codes&until=16570/P0186
Anyone come across that code before?
With the regards to the logging session, it threw the charge pressure code up several times and then seemed to clear its self. MAF reading all seems fine at the moment, 9.5g/s @ 3k rpm and a peak of 210g/s during a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear pulls.
Anyone anymore ideas?
