Well, busy day.
The car's pretty much back together, the electric fan arrived today, and so did the crank sensor.
Initial fire-up saw very erratic running, it wouldn't idle, or rev. In the absence of a laptop, I had no choice but to bring my desk top out. Ignition primary triggers were wrong, as were the value for next firing tooth. I need to put a timing light on her though, to get it spot-on, but that's one of tomorrows jobs
Corrected these, and the car now runs, idles and revs. I have a noisy PAS pump, the shaft has excessive endfloat, so that will need replacement. Tomorrow, I'll drive her out of the garage, where she's been for 3 weeks, and check injector duty cycles, I'm looking at buying some nice fat 440cc units.
I've got some video clips, still waiting for them to finish uploading.
