A4 TDI B6 2001....Headlights both of them get condensation/steam up quite bad, whenever i wash the car or it rains (rains alot in the uk!)

if i remove the covers from the rear of the light (which you remove to access the bulb) and leave the cover off for 2-3 hours they go ok but then when covers replaced, its on a matter of time before they are the same again.

Anyone solved this problem?

There should be some natural vent holes to allow any condensation to clear which may well be blocked. Suggest you whip the headlight units out & give the outer casing a good clean underneath.

Alternatively find the smallest drill bit and drill a hole and that should stop condensation

There should be an 8mm 'L' shaped tube which points downwards coming from the back of the lighting housing. Check that this is clear and not blocked. This happened to mine. Just cleared it and the housing never fogged up again. It is a common problem with B6 A4's and Audi know about it but wont do anything about it . . . . .

Hope this helps.
