Haldex controll module leasking??? vagcom...help please

Hey all. Had my car on a mates vagcom as a yellow diagnostic light came on (dosent show it in the manual) a fault came up about a pressure drop between the re-circ and something else which came up as the old dv was nakerd and has been replaced... the other fault found was something about a leaking haldex module???? any body got any ideas????? is it vital i have it checked??? sorry i dont have the fault code, forgot to jot it down cheers

Haldex unit is to do with the Quattro system on A3/S3, I believe it controls the rear axle. Further info can be found: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haldex

Personally I'd take it in and get it checked over.

lol. i no what a haldex is, i jus wanna no whats causing the fault to appear. hope its something and nothing!!!

I've got one second hand if you do need one, hope it's not your problem though

The haldex controller is an ECU type module that controls the power going to the rear wheels
Expensive and a ******* to replace, get it checked by a main dealer 1st though
