Is my car a dpf??

Hi All,

I have recently become the owner of a 2006 A3 Sportback S-Line 2.0TDI 140.

I think I know the answer already but just wanted to confirm - if my car has downturned exhausts does that mean it is a non dpf??

Seen a few on the motorway this week and noticed some do and some don't. I presume those with normal straight out pipes are dpf??

My previous motor was a Leon Cupra R which I had APR'd. I have no plans to remap at the mo but just wondered what the map of choice is for the 140?

If your car is a UK purchased 2.0TDI-140 then it does not have a DPF. Up until Model Year 2009 the only cars fitted with DPFs were 2.0TDI-170.

Yes it's a UK car July 2006 supplied by Wolverhampton Audi.
