Need a new clutch and found this on fleecebay item no 370097874737 HIGH TORQUE ORGANIC CLUTCH anybody come across these before or is it just another wannabe

1998 1.8 TS - but have surfed net and found they are not whats claimed - bog standard clutch plate according to other sites I have seen ? Looks like one of those southbends jobbies !
wouldn't touch it with a bargepole. high toruque for £169? I doubt it
there is a reason they are selling them on eBay........
doesn't look like a southbend, they tend to have different friction material front and back, and the friction material is graduated to make it look like individal pucks.
most of them are red as well

I do a 240mm clutch / single mass flywheel combo for the 1,8T.
Stock is obviously 228mm, and slippage on even stock 1,8T isn't uncommon, definitely very common with one with increased torque output!
You'd be hard pushed to slip mine.

too right, mine slips on a quattro all the time, especially when booting out from uphill junctions!
that is why I went for a stage 4 southbend for the 2l block I have in progress
