Now by my sums 110Kw is 147bhp.

My insurance docs say it is a 163bhp model.

My car also has the symphony CD player and changer which the list says it shouldn't have.

All in all, which is most lokely to be right?

Insurance documents are seldom right.

Your car's a 150PS model - 1kW = 1,36hp.

As for the Symphony system, it's possible to have a dealer-option, or a last minute order when the car was first ordered.

0G1 = Gearshift lever

glad its got one of them, may be tricky driving it without....

yeah mate mines a 163 and its 120kw, divide kw by 0.73 to convert to bhp or multiply bhp by 0.73 to convert to kw.

Put your insurance company straight as it will save a little bit of money surely.

My insurer said that it doesn't make a difference to my premium, they have just deleted the 163 bit in the title so I now have a 2001 A4 1.8T SE, not a 2001 A4 1.8T SE (163)

ah well it was worth an ask eh. Now to get them back, get it remapped and dont tell them!
