Springs Only

Hi All,
Would anyone recommend / not recommend putting springs only on my B6 S4 to stiffen up slightly and lower?

Struggling for cash at the mo..:-(

It's alwyas best to get matched dampers but a lot of people just do the springs and have no problems.

I'm going with just springs to drop my B7. My old B5 had just lowering springs and I found the ride fine for the type of driving I do.

I put Eibach springs on my old B5 and it looked fantastic but didn't handle that great.

I may get the springs and then dampers at a later stage.

try to get a used OEM set of springs and dampers off a Sport model? they are low and stiff. The sport dampers are red.
