wrong cable?

hi

ive recently bought a obd II cable of ebay to use with vag com on my 2002 225 audi s3, but i have just read in the vag com FAQ area that hardly any cars outside of the USA work with this cable. Should it work with my car or am i screwed?

ah sweet. cheers mate, what software do i need? do you reckon you could give me a link to the correct software as ive been on the ross tech website and im not to sure which one it is.
