Be careful where you leave your keys when you take your car in for servicing
Letterbox theives are now targeting car dealers in their quest for high value cars.
Dealers around Cambridge have lost a number of cars recently to thieves who have stolen cars awaiting servicing. The victims have been motorists who left their vehicles on the premises before opening time, putting their keys through the letterbox.
The keys have then been retrieved by the thieves breaking into the letterboxes.
Cars have been stolen from a Volvo dealership, a Subaru main dealer and the National Tyre and Autocare centre in Newmarket Road.
