I haven't done anything from the VAG group for a few months now but then this beast came along. The customer has owned it for a few months and has never had his cars paint corrected or detailed but after seeing his brothers R8 that I did earlier in the year he booked in all his cars but this one is definitely the pick of the bunch for me!
As you can see it was in a bit of a mess and had also had some paint on the near side rear quarter after white van man pulled out on him!
Before wash
Although it is only a few months old it has been driven hard and the wheels and body work were quite badly tar spotted.
During wash & tar removal
Wheels before & afters
Even the exhaust tips hadn't escaped a pounding
Once it was all clean, free of tar and had been clayed it was on to the paint correction. As i said before the near side had been painted after an accident and was quite badly swirled due to being flatted using a grit based compound such as Farecla or the old 3M products but the offside wasn't too bad with a few random scratches.
