Hi guys,
I've had my facelift S-line for almost 2 months and to be honest, i'm finding the ride a bit too harsh. You can feel almost every imperfection in the road, my Dad even commented on how bumpy it feels. I previously owned a MK4 Golf Anniversary on standard Anni suspension (approx 30mm lower than a standard Golf) and I was pretty happy with the comfort this setup provided.
I've been doing some reading on here and i've found similar comments from other owners.
Looks like many people opt for the H&R springs on standard s-line shocks and have reported an improvement in comfort. Can the standard s-line shocks be run with lower springs without any issues? Will they not wear the shocks out quicker than normal?
I'm quite tempted to go down this route as it sounds like a cheap and easy fix thats been tried and tested but i'm concerned about warranty issues.
Cheers.
