what do these codes mean

Hi all, just plugged vag com into my s3 and it has come up with these codes, 00812, and 17743, one of them were torque exceeded, and the other one was a abs fault i think? what sensors are they ? any help would be appreciated

00812 - Brake Pressure Release Solenoid (F84)

Possible Causes

• Switch for Brake Recognition (F83) faulty
• Wiring to Switch for Brake Recognition (F83) faulty
• Brake Booster faulty

Possible Solutions

• Check Switch for Brake Recognition (F83)
• Check Wiring to Switch for Brake Recognition (F83)
• Check Brake Booster

cant find anything for 17743. Try posting this in the VAG-COM forum and the guys there might be able to help you.

that could be down to a dodgy brake sensor then, cheers
