Could do with a few price guides on my A3, Parkers isn't the most accurate!

Details:

Audi A3 DSG S line 55 (2006)
Silver
Heated seats
24k miles
2 services by Audi
Couple of lightly curbed wheels and a 3" scuff on an arch (not hugely noticeable)

?

Give the AA site a try, it gets its values from Glasses guide.

Does it have the s-line bumper?

yeah i've seen planety of Facelift S lines for around 12k

Lee and I have been looking at tons on S-Lines recently (as he's after one).

Looking an autorader, it would be worth around £12,000 - £13,000.

Anything above 12 - Id take it tbh...

This ones on par with yours http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-u...icleYearOfManufacture=2006&vehicleRegLetter=S

but its trade so you should be around 1k-500 cheaper

In this market - its very up and downey atm lol

Try £12,750 and see how it goes. Well, thats what Id do.

It also depends on where you are - down south, cars are a bit cheaper...

Sportbacks depreciate more than hatchbacks, anything below 13 is pointless as trade in value floats around 11.

There's a couple around that price tbh inc 3drs....That was one i randomly picked!

Search on Autotrader. type in a spec similar to your cars own and see what comes up!

Personally I would put it in at £12,750 ish and accept an offer of around £12,500. If it doesnt sell, you can trade in for 11k, but if you stand to gain that sort of money by selling privately, it is not really pointless giving it a try. A classified Ad on ebay only costs £12.99 - I put a car up there a couple of weeks ago and it sold within a day!

You might also find you get more of a discount without a trade in.
