67 plate S3 Battery cover

Hi,

Long time lurked. First post !
I seem to be without the battery cover (fibre type thing) on my S3 does anyone know if it's been stoped ?

Does the cover have sides but no lid ? This seems to be the case for the last couple of months of the Golf R production also.

Yeah Battery covers have been stopped now.......

My Golf R has one but i know other R/Audi S3 owners that don't have them.

Yes it has a cover around it but no top. A bit messy but not really bothered, I just thought if it should have one I would contact my dealer

Yeh ,and now also the lack of the door lights - now Reflectors ! Mean !

Won’t come with a battery after the next plate series, just a pack of Energizer AAA’s

Weirdly however Etka shows The 2019 MY S3 with a top flap.......

However on the Golf R there are 2 versions, one up until middle of this year then the 'open' top version onwards.
