Hi all - how are people’s 66/67 S3’s doing post the gearbox software update (34L4)? I have mine booked for this Friday so be good to know:

1. Any impact on performance on the car?
2. Transmission improved or worsen?
3. Did you have to replace the transmission or was there no fault?
4. Hoping any repairs/replacement was covered by Audi?

Thanks.

Already being discussed here:

Edit: Ahh @JohnM100 beat me to it!

I had mine updated this time last year when it was serviced and have waited to reply to give a longer term opinion.
I noticed immediately that my car wasn’t the same as before the software update.
The gear changes are not as instant when on full throttle as the car seems to hesitate slightly when changing up from pulling away on full beans.
It also very randomly holds onto gears even when just driving normally.
This is usually from 2nd to 3rd.
I’d say my car definitely feels overall slightly worse since this update.
