Hi all,
Last week I posted a message about water in the n/s rear passenger footwell. At the time I put it down to the fact I'd left the windows open during a rainy night.
However I've seen a few posts here referring to water leaks/ pooling in the front n/s footwell, and the fact that these can cause significant problems to electrics.
My question is, could the water in the rear footwell have come from somewhere else, the boot for example? I can't find any other damp patches or evidence of water running down from somewhere else in the car, but it has me slightly worried...
One thing I did notice was a slight damp patch on the lower left corner of the boot lid (it's an avant), which I put down to ingress where the lid meets the bumper. I've lifted the carpet out of the boot and found no water anywhere.
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated...
