Apologies this is late coming, but I've been run off my feet lately.

Attached is a photographic guide of how to remove the vital engine bits to change / remove / check your DV (based within Picasa for the convenience of hosting photos). Follow each photo to go through the journey.

Again this is hurried, so if you need any further info please feel free to PM me.

The A3 one is a pita to get too, strapped to the turbo, did one today, its not hard to do as such, just ****** awkward overall to get to the bolts, time & patents needed, of which I had both lol.

If its an A3 say 55 plate, then of course as its at the back end of the engine lol, but S3, well quite possibly as its located at the front, if all engine codes followed this design on the S3.

Holy Thread Revival, Batman ! :D

Yep, K03 Turbo Engine, right next to turbo, PITA

K04 Turbo Engine (S3), right at the front of engine, Easy!

hi guys, sorry to revive the thread (again!)

Have a '57 plate S3 so it's likely I have the Rev C valve, which I'd wanna change. Is it now considered better to go for the Rev G version or still stick with Rev D?

Also, whichever is preferable is there a particular part number I can take to Audi please?

Cheers
