Anyone fitted a new S3 gearknob

yup did it about a year ago you have to use the plastic base on the inside of your old gaitor on the new one so that means pulling out all the staples. My staple gun wasn`t strong enough to restaple so I just located the two lugs on the gator and trapped the leather as I refitted it. Its qite easy.
got it off fleabay for 50 quid ish brand new. they pop up every now and then. You never know a dealer may do a good price on one.
