ok i've recently got my hands on a a3 quattro with 88k on the clock, chuffed with it so far but! the bloke i got it off said that the cam belt had been done by himself, he was a mechanic, abd said that he had all of the recepts etc, well the car runs sweet as a nut, but! looked through all of the service history reciepts etc and nothing about a cam belt. i think i've been had
so i'm going to change the cam belt and was wondering how difficult it is to do yourself? i'm good with mechanics so dont see why i couldnt do it myself?
new oil all round including haldex (is this possable without a ramp or pit?)
new spark plugs, brake pads.
is there anything else i should look out for?
