How much does the S3 ECU adapt?

I know the ECU adapts after a reset as in when the power has been removed etc,but does anyone know how much by?

I've recently had my car back to AMD to have a Forge DV and CAI fitted,and as before,the car initially felt pretty sluggish for a few days and has since improved as it's adapted.

I'm just interested to know what percentages it allows,if anyone knows.
