Faulty AirCon

I have 3.2 S Line DSG with an air con that blows red hot regardless of where you turn the zone control. It will do this about once a week and i am loathed to take it to Audi's because the chances are it will not do it while they have it. Once it faults it will usually be OK the next day...

anything obvious i should check ??

Check out the thread in my sig. If you're under warranty then you're covered at least.

Have you got access to VCDS?

No warranty left unfortunately. Problems like this are a night mare because i just know it will be fine if i book it in to Audi. Its like my DSG that would switch to limp home once every 2 weeks...

If you have no warranty I wouldn't go to Audi for air con problems, I'd go to an independent air con specialist.

Before doing that though you should try and get access to VCDS to see if there are any faults logged on.
