Running badly

Hi guys

I'm writing this on behalf of my father who is having a problem with his a4 1.8, it runs very badly under load and a diagnostics check has thrown up fault 16514 bank 1-sensor 1 electrical problem in circuit p0130 intermittent what does this mean and how can we sort the problem, we would be so grateful for your help.
