3" exhaust on 1.8t

would a 3" single back box exhaust on a standard ko3s turbo be too big, i want to get it remapped later but want to do the exhaust first then remap with bigger injectors then possibly a bigger turbo, and would a front mount meke me lose the front fog lights

no, might be a tad noisy but you can't get "too" big for turbo exhausts.
I have a 2.75" Miltek on a KO3s, two silencers so not too bad.

you want to ditch the CAT though. no point havinga super free flowing exhaust with super restrictive CAT up front

not sure whether to de cat or get a hi flow cat from 034, so you reckon still have a middle silencer to keep the noise down

I got rid of my middle silencer and welded a straight through pipe in its place, then fitted an ashley competition back box with twin 2.5" tailpipes. Looks good but is pretty noisey...good noisey though!

even the high flow cats negate the need for 3" exhaust.
I have a milrek high flow and i think it is the reason there was no obvious gain on teh exhaust over stock.

whats the cell rating on the hi flow cats mean is higher or lower better
