Garrett T3/T04E Turbo

hi, ive been reading a few build threads reacently and everyone seems to be putting gt30 or gt28 turbos on there motors. is it possible or practical to use a Garrett T3/T04E Turbo, heres some info:
54 trim T04E compressor wheel with a max flow rate of 44 lb/min
0.60 AR T04E compressor housing
Good to 400 whp

to be honest mate been looking at other turbo's cause its half the price of the gt30. dont know hotside a/r just copy and paste from jdm performance

is this a roller bearing spec version or journal?
i would'nt expect spool to be the same if journal, and maybe slightly later if bb chra

BB spool faster than journal bearing units.

People fit these over in the states. Take a look on forums.vwvortex.com. You might find graphs for spool and power levels there. Be advised that US power figures are generally inflated.
