My 2.0tdi starts from cold on the button drives great,it seems to take ages to warm up about 8miles on the motorway,once warm when i turn the ignition off and go to restart minutes later it spins over a few times leave for 15 mins still warm starts on the button.
Also when its hot it will miss a little on tick over .
Any ideas the car runs and goes fine.
Where is the thermostat ??? i have also read about this problem with the vw tdi and that was a temp sensor which people bypassed with a relay when starting fooling the ecu that the engine is cold
