Hi guys,
Tonight out of the blue my RCL has suddenly stopped working on my 8p 06 A3. The remote's battery is fine, (as is the spare) but neither of them will lock/unlock the doors / boot / petrol cap etc.
Also, the red light that's between the 'lock/unlock doors' button on the drivers side door is not illuminated when the doors are all locked, however the button still locks and unlocks the doors.
The electric windows and sunroof also won't open, presumably this has something to do with my RCL...
Has anyone encountered this, and if so what's the root cause? Do you think the cold weather may be something to do with it?
The remote's always worked first time in the past and there's been no intermittent faults in or signs of it failing. I know it's not the end of the world, but opening the petrol cap via the boot isn't ideal!
