I have the Bose system on my car already, but I would like to upgrade the sound.
I’m looking to get a better sub and a stronger amp to run the sub.
Just a few things Im not sure about,

Is the current bose amp sufficient to run the speakers (excluding the sub) in the car to optimum performance?
Should I look at putting the speakers onto the aftermarket amp aswell, or are they already performing to their best on the bose amp?

I know the sub isn’t great, but are the speakers in the car worth keeping? Or should I look to upgrade them to?

Thanks!

i also ordered bose with my car.
and as you said the sub is useless.
i am running the std. bose speakers through the factory amp
and have the JL 10" running of the JL amp.

I take it your setup ain't stealth?

Heya Neelesh, JL is SEXY! Nice settup, your car must BOUNCE! :)
I need all my boot space so a setup like that wont work for me unfortunately! Im gona go for a stealth install.
I think Im going to keep the Speakers like you did! and just swop out the Sub.
I've got 2 options Im thinking about

firstly I can get the same size Sub (6") and keep it in the same location Just build a better box for it. and hide the amp somewhere out of site.
Or
I can go with a bigger sub and Mount it in my Spare wheel compartment, ill put my spare wheel upside down and build the box (removable) inside the spare wheel with the 10 or 12" sub.

Tricky!

Thanks Waqi, Seen his build! awesome stuff.. but im a bit far from to order from him!
