plastic filler

ok, i have a spare center console and tomorrow im going to attemt a custom console. Those silly adaptor things you get for the after market head units annoy me as they look so gash. so im going to make the Radio hole smaller with some good old plastic welding!!

Question i have, im obviously going to have to smooth it which will mean a small amount of filler. would this stuff be ok or do you know of better stuff? i have some aroldite apoxy stuff from when i made the grill badge but thats ment for metal. and i dont know if the spray paint will stick to it after i used it. this stuffs made for bumpers so one assumes it can be painted over.

I have used that stuff before... I used it more recently on my pillar pod but have used it for modding the lower grilles on my A4 for foglights.... got good results with the stuff...
