My S3 has a little problem with the revs hanging, especially when giving it a bit of stick between 1st & 2nd gear. Should i be looking at the telescopic switch on the clutch pedal arm or could it be something else?

a lot of people say its the clutch switch, but i cant see how as it is for the cruise? mine does it to sometimes

Hmm, interesting. I know on my Ibiza Cupra a faulty clutch switch caused the revs to hang, a new one cured it. Might try it anyway and see what happens.

Clutch switch is not just for cruise control, its used by the ECU to help with throttle body control....
