Quick question, what oil for a top up?
Cheers.

id be looking at changing the oil all together and then pricing up replacement engines

Sprally, if you do not know what oil was used in the last service then go and get an oil change asap before damage to the engine occur.

Oil + filter change, do it yourself or cost you less than £50 from any garage.

£50 service or £1500 for new engine

You can supply your own oil by getting Mobil 10W40 or Castrol Edge 5W30

yup, definately a bad situation for an engine to have low oil. youre basically a sharp corner away from running the oil pump dry and killing things

just get the oil changed and keep a closer eye on the level otherwise youll end up with something totally shagged
