Audi people!

In March 2017 Audi released a safety recall for 2008 and 2009 Audi A3/S3 for the ABS/ESC control module failure, recall code 45F2.

I have lost my copy of the letter Audi sent to me in regards to this recall, I am hoping someone here still has a copy of this letter, around March 2017, which they could upload a copy of?

I'm sure many of you keep every car related document in a folder, I do aswell, but I cannot find this specific letter! Ideally UK letters please.

Kind thanks!

Audi will have this as s TPI against a vin range anyway, it will be on the system for all cars affected as it usually links to dvla etc, so they shouldn't be able to sidestep you, letter shouldn't be required.

What's the issue exactly?

Well in Nov 2017 I took my S3 to Audi, they performed a firmware upgrade on the ABS pump as per the safety recall, I've only done 18,000 miles since this was done. I now have the ABS light on, from a VCDS scan it reports;

From what I recall on the Audi recall letter, it stated that should the problem arise anytime after the FW upgrade they would replace the ABS pump as long as specific fault code are present at time of diagnosis.

From Audi recall document I've found online it states the pump must produce a fault code of 16352 with 96 shown in the 4th line of the code ... which mine does.

So, from all this, I want Audi to now replace my ABS pump!
